Mr. Gajanand Rajput, Secretary General of the
Martial Arts Authority of India specially choosed his most favourite
weapon called “ Da Dao “ and got trained under the guidance of
Master Shi Yan Lu who is Chief Coach of the Shaolin Temple’s Worrior
Monks Training Base.
Master Shi Yan Lu accepted gajanand as a Shaolin
Temple Warrior Secular Disciple in 2006 during the budhist ceremony
in the Shaolin Temple, China. This was the third visit of Shaolin
Temple for Gajanand.
Mr. Uttam Narzary Koch, International
Sanshou Medalist in China 2007, learned his one of the favourite
internal style boxing which is known as Tai Chi in the Western World
under the coaching of Sifu Shi Xing Wang for a week. Master Shi Xing
Wang has been training in Shaolin Kungfu for more than 30 years. He
is also the head coach of the fighting monks of Fa Wang Temple.
Currently, Master Shi Xing Wang is in charge of training foreign
students. Under his guidence Uttam also learned Qinna techniques,
Sanshou, Five animal form in 2006 and in 2007.
After seeing his spirit towards kungfu
Sifu Shi Xing Wang accepted him as a foreign disciple student of the
shaolin temple and blessed him for his bright future.
Mr. Rahul Basumatary, Indian Wushu
Coach of the Wushu KungFu Federation of India, learned Dao ( Broad
Sword ), and Shaolin Xiao Hong Quan during his stay in Shaolin
Temple.
Dr. Raju Newar, Mr.Dhaneswar Goyari
and Shree Chanakya Brahma met Great Shaolin Master monk Shi Yan Lu
in the Shaolin Temple and Invited him to MAAI’s upcoming Asian
Martial Arts Games held in India in 2009.
Master Shi Yan Lu accepted MAAI’s
Invitation and promissed Indian team to send a shaolin monks
delegation to india for the big shaolin monks public show and
demonstration. During his stay in India he will also conduct
workshop for Indian peoples health and happiness.
